I hope everyone had a restful and fun summer. We recieved two AWESOME announcements over the summer. First Passage is FULLY ACCREDITED and second we are now an official INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE WORLD SCHOOL! Our theme for this year is “A Piece of the World” I want you to be thinking about your piece of the world, what can you contribute to our class, our community and our world…

Well the school year is beginning and boy am I going to miss the summer.  The boat, the beach my boys…even though summer is over I am VERY excited about teaching eighth grade for the first time.  There will be some of you this year that have at least had me once, there are some of you that will have had me all three years.  I am really looking forward to jumping right into reading literature from around the world and exploring all different types of writing.

I am hoping that all of you are ready to embark on your final year of middle school.  I am expecting to see all of you be successful and be on your way to high school with all of the tools you need.  If at any time you need to discuss something with me please feel free to blog about it or you can come have lunch with me!

Let’s start this year off with a bang and think about how we can make this year the BEST!
